We had a nice, light room at the front on the second floor - a bit of traffic noise but nothing unbearable. Our evening meal was very good and not too expensive. The staff were excellent and very attentive.
Breakfast was a bit slow and seving evrything on one plate (toast and butter included) is not the best idea!

Gary
Overall it was cheap with breakfast included.

The location here was great, right next to a nice pub. 😊 Inside the room, there were super comfy beds and also a TV, a couch, and even a coffee maker.

The hotel has everything the modern traveller needs but delivers an overall atmosphere that is like stepping back to a time when travel was so much more relaxing. A really great place to get away from it all whilst knowing that so much is within easy reach.

The location of this accommodation is central and the staff were amazingly great and very polite. We really enjoyed good breakfasts with juice to help yourself too and extra beans, for example.

The staff were welcoming and attentive. The general comfort of the bar and eating areas was relaxed and comfortable. This was a last minute change of plans as our original hotel had had a fire, but we would definitely visit again on this experience. Good food and a choice of cask ales.

A pleasant and absolutely charming hotel, my first choice in Tarporley. "Good and lovely breakfast to start a day with smokey bacon, good options to choose from, extra beans. "Stunning and attractive rooms with MB toiletries, four poster bed, ear plugs.

Our evening meal was really very good and the service was excellent. The provsion of newspapers for customer use is a nice touch. We liked the place.
Breakfast was disappointing after the super meal we had the previous evening. The "freshly squeezed" orange juice was not at all fresh and tasted like a cheap carton product. The English breakfast was just wrong: bacon should be a main element and should be meaty but the bacon element of this breakfast was a very small piece of limp, fatty streaky bacon. The pork sausage was a good size but was not cooked through. We sent ours back to be cooked some more. The red grapefruit was very good though. I would have had the kippers but they come with eggs which seems an odd mixture.
